1. Enter total concert cost
Include the event-cost scope you want ticket revenue and other funding to support.
2. Subtract non-ticket funding
Enter confirmed or assumed sponsorship, grants, guarantees, ancillary contribution, or other funding you want credited against cost.
3. Add a reserve if needed
Use the reserve to add planning margin to the remaining cost; set it to 0 if your cost already includes that margin.
4. Enter expected paid attendance
Use the number of paid guests expected to carry the ticket-supported cost.
5. Interpret the per-guest cost carefully
Compare the result with expected net ticket revenue, but do not treat it as a final consumer price without modeling ticket mix and deductions.
