Enter the rated range or, preferably, your normal range in mild conditions.
2. Estimate temperature impact
Use a percentage reduction that reflects the battery and ambient conditions you expect.
3. Add speed or riding-style loss
Higher aerodynamic load, rapid acceleration, and sustained high speed can reduce range.
4. Include load and accessories
Account for passenger or cargo weight, hills, lighting, heating, and other electrical loads.
5. Review adjusted range
Use the remaining range with an additional safety margin for route planning.
