What the result means

Use the result as an estimate based on the values and assumptions entered.

Changing an input updates the result automatically.

Given: 24 posts over 30 days, 1.5 hours per post, and 12 production hours available each week.

Calculation: Daily pace = 24 ÷ 30 = 0.8. Weekly pace = 0.8 × 7 = 5.6 posts. Weekly hours = 5.6 × 1.5 = 8.4.

Result: The plan requires about 5.6 posts and 8.4 production hours per week.

Should weekends be included?

Use calendar days when posts can be scheduled automatically. Use active publishing days instead when the cadence excludes weekends.

What belongs in hours per post?

Include all repeatable work required to publish, not only writing time.

Can the calculator handle several channels?

Yes, if the post target includes all channel-specific versions and the time estimate reflects them.

What does capacity above 100% mean?

The planned work exceeds the weekly hours entered and needs more capacity or a lower target.

Is higher frequency always better?
