2. Count retained clients
Enter how many of those same clients met your chosen return or active-client definition.
3. Use one time window
Apply the same month, quarter, or rebooking window to both counts.
4. Review retention and attrition

5. Compare like-for-like periods
Use the same cohort definition in future periods before interpreting changes as improvement or decline.
