TikTok View Value Estimator

The TikTok View Value Estimator estimates the economic value of a view by combining direct creator payouts, sponsorship allocation, affiliate contribution, and other attributed revenue. It helps creators compare content formats, campaigns, or periods using a common per-view measure.

Rather than assuming one platform-wide value, the calculator divides the revenue you enter by the associated views. This makes the result adaptable to a single video, a campaign, or a monthly content portfolio. Attribution quality matters: revenue should cover the same period and content set as the view count. The estimate is gross unless the revenue inputs already reflect costs, refunds, taxes, and partner shares.

1. Match the time period
Use views and revenue from the same post, campaign, or reporting period.

2. Enter direct payout
Add platform or rewards revenue attributable to those views.

3. Allocate commercial revenue
Enter sponsorship, affiliate, and other revenue tied to the same content set.

4. Review per-view and RPM values
Use the main result for individual view value and the breakdown for value per 1,000 views.

Value per view = Total attributed revenue ÷ Attributed views

Variables: Use the values and units entered above. Percentages are converted to decimals in the calculation.

What the result means

The result indicates how much gross attributed value each view generated on average.

Correlation is not the same as attribution; use conservative allocations when revenue comes from multiple channels.

Given:
• $180 platform payout
• $4,500 sponsorship allocation
• $1,050 affiliate contribution
• $270 other revenue

Calculation:
Total value = $180 + $4,500 + $1,050 + $270 = $6,000
Value per view = $6,000 ÷ 900,000 = $0.006667
RPM = $6.6667

Result:
Estimated value is about $0.00667 per view, or $6.67 per 1,000 views.

Can I include revenue from several videos?

Yes, as long as you also use the combined views for those same videos and period.

Should I enter sales revenue or profit?

Choose one basis consistently. Profit or contribution is better for economic value; gross revenue is useful for top-line attribution.

Why can sponsorship dominate the result?

Sponsorships often pay for audience access and creative work beyond direct platform payouts.

What if a campaign has no direct payout?

Enter zero for platform payout and include the commercial value that is attributable to the views.

How is this different from CPM?

Value per view is a unit amount; CPM is the same value scaled to 1,000 views.
