Use the net tiled surface area before waste and the purchase price per square foot.

Enter the percentage you want to add for cuts, breakage, pattern matching, and spare pieces.
3. Add floor quantity and price
Use the net floor area and its own waste percentage because floor layout may differ from wall tile.
4. Include other finish materials
Enter the combined cost of other materials that need a small ordering or damage allowance, then assign a waste percentage.
5. Review extra quantities and dollars
The calculator shows the added tile and flooring quantity, the dollar value of the waste allowance, and the material budget after the allowance.
