Does the result include weekends?
No. The main result is working days. The workweek figure simply divides by five and does not place those days on a calendar.
What productivity rate should I enter?
Use a rate from comparable completed work, a vetted estimate, or a crew production standard that matches the same unit and scope. Avoid mixing a crew-hour rate with a worker-hour rate.
Can I model overtime?
Yes, by increasing productive hours per day if those extra hours are expected to produce at the same entered rate. If overtime reduces efficiency, lower the productivity assumption accordingly.
What if the crew size changes during the job?
A single crew size represents an average steady-state condition. For major staffing changes, calculate separate phases and add their durations.
Why might the actual finish date be later?
The model does not include nonworking days, predecessor activities, inspections, weather, access restrictions, material delays, or other schedule constraints unless you build those effects into the assumptions.
