Total minutes = Estimated workouts × Average session duration. Because a partial week may be included, the session result can be fractional.

What the result means

The main result is the expected number of sessions at the entered weekly frequency across the selected days.

A fractional session represents proportional schedule volume; practical calendars require rounding and selecting actual workout dates.

Given: 4 workouts per week, 45 minutes each, over 30 days.

Calculation: Workouts = 4 × 30 ÷ 7 = 17.1429. Total time = 17.1429 × 45 = 771.43 minutes = 12.86 hours.

Result: The schedule represents about 17.14 workouts and 12.86 training hours.

Why is the workout count a decimal?

A month usually contains a partial week. The decimal shows proportional volume before you round to an actual number of sessions.

Can I use this for several workout types?

Yes, if the entered frequency and duration are combined averages. Separate calculations provide more detail for different session types.

Does session duration include warm-up and cool-down?
