The Procurement Order Transit Duration Estimator estimates the elapsed shipping time associated with a procurement order by combining line-haul transit, planned consolidation or transfer time, and an optional delay buffer. It is useful when a purchase order moves through more than one logistics step and the buyer needs a single planning duration.
The result represents the transportation phase of the order, not the full procurement cycle. Order approval, supplier production, customs processing, and receiving can be tracked separately so the source of lead-time variation remains visible.
