1. Enter expected guests
Use the attendance count the staff will actually serve.
2. Set the server ratio
Enter how many guests one server is expected to handle under your chosen meal and table-service style.
3. Set the bartender ratio
Enter the expected guests per bartender. Use a ratio consistent with bar complexity and service expectations.
4. Add support roles
Enter fixed support staff that are not captured by the guest ratios, such as runners or setup personnel.
5. Review rounded staffing counts
Server and bartender needs round up to whole people so the staffing plan does not fall below the chosen ratio.
