Weekly Calories Calculator
This calculator totals calorie intake across seven days and shows the daily average and difference from a weekly target. It is useful when day-to-day intake varies and a weekly view is more informative than judging each day in isolation.
The tool only adds the numbers entered. It does not determine an appropriate calorie target or predict body-weight change with clinical precision.
Seven-day calorie log
Weekly total = Day 1 + … + Day 7
Daily average = weekly total ÷ 7
Difference = weekly total − weekly target
What the result means
The result shows the sum of the seven entered daily calorie values.
Food labels, portion estimates, and tracking omissions can affect the total.
Given: Seven daily values totaling 15,400 kcal.
Calculation: 15,400 ÷ 7 = 2,200 kcal/day.
Result: Weekly total 15,400 kcal and daily average 2,200 kcal.
Should incomplete days be entered as zero?
Only if zero is the true value. Otherwise, an incomplete log will understate the total.
Can I use kilojoules?
This page is configured for kilocalories; convert units before entering values.
Why use a weekly target?
A weekly target can accommodate planned variation across days.
Does the difference predict weight change?
Not reliably by itself because expenditure and metabolic adaptation also matter.
What does the highest day tell me?
It identifies the largest entered value, which may help review unusual days or data-entry errors.
