What the result means

Given: 70 kg, 60-minute workout, moderate 0.6 L/hour allowance.

Calculation: 70 × 0.033 = 2.31 L; plus 0.60 L = 2.91 L.

Result: Estimated daily water is 2.91 liters.

Does food moisture count?

Yes. Foods can supply a meaningful share of total water, so beverage needs may be lower than the total estimate.

Should I drink the full amount during exercise?

No. The result is a daily estimate. The workout addition can be spread before, during, and after training.

How can I estimate my sweat rate?

Compare body weight immediately before and after a controlled session while accounting for fluid consumed.

Do electrolytes matter?

Long, hot, or very sweaty sessions may require sodium and other electrolytes as well as water.
