The Olympic Lifting Performance Score Estimator combines your snatch and clean & jerk and scales the resulting total to body weight. The main score is the total-to-body-weight ratio multiplied by 100, giving a simple relative-strength index that is easy to track across training cycles or body-weight changes.

This is an informal performance estimator, not an official weightlifting qualification or ranking score. Assumptions: The score is a simple body-weight-normalized index. It does not incorporate sex, age, competition category, coefficient tables, or qualification standards.

What the result means

A score of 250 means the snatch-plus-clean-and-jerk total equals 2.50 times body weight.

Use official federation rules when determining rankings, records, or qualification status.

Calculation:
Olympic total = 90 + 115 = 205 kg
Relative ratio = 205 ÷ 81 = 2.5309

Is this an official Olympic weightlifting score?

No. It is a simple relative-total index. Official rankings and qualifications depend on the rules and standards of the governing organization or event.

Should I use training PRs or competition results?

Either works for personal tracking, but compare like with like. Competition results are better when you want consistency with judged attempts.

What if I have only one of the two lifts?

The other field can be zero, but the result will be a partial total rather than a complete Olympic weightlifting total.

Why normalize by body weight?

Scaling by body mass gives context to the absolute total. It still does not fully equalize athletes of different sizes, which is why formal coefficient systems may be used elsewhere.

How is this different from the power-to-weight estimator?

This page expresses the Olympic total as a relative score. The power-to-weight counterpart presents the total-to-body-weight ratio directly rather than multiplying it by 100.
