Decide what one result represents, such as one item, one kilogram of product, or another functional unit, and keep every input on that basis.
2. Enter production emissions
Add the materials and manufacturing emissions calculated for the defined unit.
3. Enter distribution and use emissions
Enter the combined emissions you are including for logistics and product use.
4. Enter end-of-life emissions
Add disposal, recycling, or other end-of-life emissions included in your chosen boundary.
5. Review the total and shares
Use the component shares to identify which life-cycle stage dominates the entered footprint.
