TikTok Conversion Calculator

The TikTok Conversion Calculator measures the percentage of recorded clicks that completed a chosen conversion action. It supports campaign analysis when clicks and conversions use compatible tracking rules, such as completed purchases after outbound ad clicks.

A conversion rate turns two raw totals into a comparable efficiency metric, making it easier to evaluate landing pages, offers, audiences, or time periods with different traffic volumes. The figure does not explain causality or conversion quality, so it is most useful beside revenue, cost per conversion, and tracking diagnostics. Define the conversion event before comparing results; combining sign-ups, purchases, and app installs in one total can make the rate hard to interpret.

Conversion rate (%) = Conversions ÷ Clicks × 100
Clicks per conversion = Clicks ÷ Conversions

This version uses clicks as the denominator. Conversions cannot exceed clicks under the single-conversion-per-click model applied by the calculator.

What the result means

The primary result reports conversion rate from the values entered above. Supporting rows show useful components or equivalent rates.

Use inputs from one consistent reporting scope. Platform definitions, attribution settings, rounding, and incomplete tracking can affect comparisons.

Given: 1,260 purchases from 42,000 eligible clicks.

Calculation: Conversion rate = 1,260 ÷ 42,000 × 100 = 3.00%. Clicks per conversion = 42,000 ÷ 1,260 = 33.33.

Result: About 3 of every 100 recorded clicks converted.

Should the denominator be clicks or sessions?

This calculator uses clicks. Use sessions instead only if both the metric name and reporting method are changed consistently.

Can conversions be greater than clicks?

Some reporting systems permit multiple conversions per click. This tool applies a simpler single-conversion model and flags that situation.

Do view-through conversions belong here?

Not when clicks are the denominator unless your defined method explicitly combines them. Report click-through and view-through performance separately for clarity.

Why might TikTok and analytics totals differ?

Attribution windows, consent, time zones, deduplication, and event configuration can produce different totals. Reconcile definitions before comparing rates.

How should I compare two campaigns?

Use the same event, attribution window, dates, and click definition. Also compare conversion value because equal rates may produce very different business outcomes.
