Is waste allowance the same as a safety factor?

Should the net volume already include thickened edges?

Yes. Enter the complete theoretical volume you intend to cover before waste, including separately calculated edges or beams if they are part of the pour.

Can I enter zero waste?

Yes. A 0% allowance returns the same total as the net volume, which is useful for comparing theoretical and adjusted quantities.

Why might the supplier order still differ from this result?

Ready-mix suppliers may use order increments, minimum loads, or practical rounding. The estimator does not apply supplier-specific commercial rules.
