Daily Fitness Calculator

This calculator combines several daily wellness inputs into a transparent fitness consistency score. It is designed for personal tracking when you want one summary number without pretending that fitness can be fully measured by a single metric.

The score rewards movement, purposeful exercise, strength work, and sleep relative to adjustable benchmarks. It is not a medical assessment or a comparison with population norms.

  1. Enter the day’s step count.
  2. Enter moderate-equivalent activity minutes.
  3. Add strength-training minutes.
  4. Enter sleep duration.
  5. Use the component scores to see which area contributed most.

Score = movement (40 points) + training (40 points) + recovery (20 points)

Each component is capped at its maximum, so extra activity does not inflate the score indefinitely.

What the result means

The score reflects completion of the entered benchmarks, not overall health or athletic performance.

Use the same benchmark logic over time if you want meaningful comparisons.

Given: 8,000 steps, 30 activity minutes, 20 strength minutes, and 7.5 hours of sleep.

Calculation: Each input is scaled to its component cap.

Result: The components sum to the daily score.

Can I compare my score with someone else?

The score is most useful for comparing your own days because needs and abilities differ.

Why are components capped?

Capping prevents one very large input from masking low values elsewhere.

Does vigorous exercise count?

You can convert vigorous minutes to moderate-equivalent minutes according to your tracking method.

What if I cannot do strength training?

Enter zero and interpret the score within your own plan and abilities.

Is a score of 100 required every day?

No. Recovery days and changing goals can make lower scores entirely appropriate.
