1. Add shared expenses
Enter the combined cost of expenses that everyone agreed to split, such as lodging, fuel, tolls, or group tickets.
2. Set the group size
Enter the number of people who participate in the shared split. Do not include someone whose costs are fully separate.
3. Add personal charges
Enter expenses assigned only to you. These are added after the equal group split.
4. Record your payments
Enter the amount you have already paid toward the shared and personal costs.
5. Include a fee when needed
Use the fee percentage for a booking, processing, or service charge applied to the shared expense total.
6. Review the settlement
A positive balance means you still owe money; a negative balance means you paid more than your adjusted share.
