What period should the travel emissions input cover?

Use the same reporting period you intend the offsets to cover, such as one trip, one quarter, or one year. Mixing periods will distort the offset requirement.

Can I enter less than 100% offset coverage?

Yes. A lower coverage percentage can represent a partial offset policy, a budget limit, or a phased approach.

Does one tonne of offsets always equal one tonne of climate benefit?

The calculator treats offset units on a one-tonne accounting basis, but real-world quality varies by project type and verification. Quantity alone does not establish environmental integrity.
